B.o.B the Flat Earther

B.o.B thinks the world is flat you guys, I just… I can’t..

WHAT??

The rapper whose full name is Bobby Ray Simmons Jr but better known to his fans as B.o.B with hits such as “Nothin’ on You, Airplanes and Magic took to his twitter @bobatl last week to explain to us that we have been duped all this time and that the world is not round but flat because how can we measure curvature?? I don’t know guys I’m so amused by this. B.o.B claims that we cannot know for sure that the world is round because the only images we have ever seen of a round earth are from NASA.

You see this is the problem with Americans, they think they are the centre of the world and that you can’t obtain knowledge from anywhere but American institutions. I mean plenty of other counties have ventured into space and sent forth images that do indeed prove that the world is round, never mind the proven science behind it. But hey NASA and government conspiracy theories right?

Put down whatever you are smoking B.o.B it’s not becoming of you.

The best part about his claims is that B.o.B beefed with Neil DeGrasse Tyson who politely tried to explain and correct Bobby as to why the earth is indeed not flat. Their twitter exchange was telling of B.o.B’s deductive reasoning to say the least

Now many of you may not know who Neil DeGrasse Tyson is, Neil deGrasse Tyson  is an American astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, and science communicator. Since 1996, he has been the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City. The center is part of the American Museum of Natural History, where Tyson founded the Department of Astrophysics in 1997 and has been a research associate in the department since 2003.

So Neil knows what he’s talking about, for B.o.B to come at him on some how do you know bro tip is laughable, like bruh? You don’t have anyone around you to check you?

Then he released a gotdamn diss track about Neil DeGrasse Tyson, like??
