Wangechi, a Kenyan born FemCee/Rapper,  just released her highly anticipated mix-tape, Chakula Ya Soul, on the 26th of July, 2013.

Chakula Ya Soul (Soul Food) is the debut mix-tape by the Africa’s Undisputed Hip-Hop Princess. It’s been produced by Kevin Provoke and features collaborations with Rabbit, Alex Big Soul amongst others.

About Wangechi

Wangechi Waweru is a female rapper based in Nairobi, Kenya. Born in 1994, her passion for music began at the tender age of 12. Listening to the likes of Slum Village, I.N.I, Kalamashaka, Jay Z, Digable planets, MF Doom, B.I.G and many more, her love for hip hop grew and set her on the path to write her own music.

She currently has a Mix-tape: “Chakula ya Soul”, a Beat-tape: “Balance: A Prelude to Art19” and is working on her self-titled album, “Wangechi”.
