So yeah… Deal has a new video, for her new single Third Party Lover, and I think I’m coming to terms with the fact that I don’t like the song, and the video just kinda hit the proverbial nail on the head.

If I really went into the nitty gritty of why I don’t like this video I think I’d be labelled a hater, which I probaly am so hey here goes…

Her make up in the scene with the knife is strange, eyeliner and mascara does leak that carefully, that perfectly and is not that dark. What is the knife about anyway? Is she killing someone? Can we see, or is that just supposed to be implied context?

I don’t even understand why there are dancers on this video but that’s just me.

The brown curly weave is such dopeness, what the hell happens with the black one?

Also her nails are fantastic HUWHAT?! I love them!

I think she needs to fire her make up artist though together with the video editor, man I am genuinely disappointed.

This song deserved a concept video on the real, with differing scenes, lighting, effects, just proper greatness. Next time I guess huh?
